Deborah L. Birx, M.D. was the 2008 Abreu Memorial Keynote Speaker.  Dr. Birx was recently selected as the new Division Director for the Global AIDS Program in the National Center for HIV, STD, and TB Prevention, CDC. Dr. Birx's visit is sponsored by the UTMB Institute for Human Infections and Immunity.

The National Student Research Forum is held annually on the University of Texas Medical Branch campus in Galveston, TX.  The National Student Research Forum is organized and run by students for the discussion of student research papers in a scientific atmosphere. We look forward to seeing you this year at the NSRF.  The NSRF is proudly sponsored by the AMA Foundation.
