ANNOUNCEMENT FOR
INNOVATION IN HEALTH SCIENCE EDUCATION AWARD
AND
HEALTH SCIENCE EDUCATION SMALL GRANTS PROGRAM
Scholars in Education Alumni
SCHOLARS IN EDUCATION UPDATE
Our most recent Scholars in Education program cohort graduated on April 10th with the traditional Symposium. Dean Anderson made some closing remarks and we held the inaugural Gwendie Camp Scholars in Education Program Reunion: 1995-2007. We are now accepting applications for the next cohort of Scholars to begin this coming September – we’ve had a good response so far but still have a few “seats” available. If you know of a colleague who would benefit from participating in the program, please have them contact me as soon as possible – the updated Scholars brochure is attached.
On a quarterly basis, I will also provide this alumni group a listing of topics to be covered in the Scholar’s sessions. You are welcome to attend any of the sessions and we will save a seat at the table for you if you have an interest in the subject or would simply like a review of the topic – but only if you RSVP. We do need to know in advance who will be coming each evening. I will send out to you in September the topics to be covered during October, November and December (September is the first meeting with just the current cohort of Scholars).
Hope your summer is going well!
Sincerely,
Bob Bulik, Ph.D.
