A few weeks ago, my daughter fell off of her swing and made such a cry that we just knew she had broken her arm. As I was leaving work to take her to the doctor, I wanted to find out if Dr. Binder’s office had an x-ray machine so she could see her regular physician rather than go to the ER.
I called the Access Center and they searched for the information. It was so nice to know that they would do this footwork for me so that I could focus on my daughter in her time of need.
Having the right information helped me to make the best choice in seeking out her medical care.

My son had extremely high fever, a sinus infection and he really felt awful. I knew there was no way possible to make an appointment at 10:30 p.m., and then it dawned on me, that UTMB had a new 24-hour program.
My appointment was scheduled for the following morning and I did not have to wait until the next day to make the appointment.
