About the Staff
Nate Schueller, PSM
Nate is a Laboratory Biosafety Training Specialist for the Laboratory Biosafety Training Program (LBTP). His responsibilities focus on training researchers for animal work in biocontainment laboratories.
Prior to joining the LBTP, he developed and performed in vivo procedures centered on infectious challenge, sampling, anesthesia, necropsy, and bioaerosol generation. Nate’s industry experience required operating in FDA-regulated ABSL3 facilities with biological select agents and toxins.
Nate received his undergraduate degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Cornell College, and his graduate degree in Biology at the Illinois Institute of Technology.
