The 2012 Encuentro was held from May 17 - 19, 2012 at the Barbara Jordan-Mickey Leland School of Public Affairs at the Texas Southern University in Houston Texas. The Encuentro was a community meeting to support exchange and engagement on community concerns related to environmental health. The CEHD co-sponsored this year's Encuentro along with a number of CEHD Partners including the Sealy Center for Environmental Health & Medicine, Air Alliance Houston, t.e.j.a.s. among others.
