Protection of Human Research Participants

 Effective September 1, 2004 all key personnel* participating in research projects involving human research participants, human derived materials (including organs, tissue, bone marrow, and non-vascular body fluids), and/or human derived data, and regardless of the funding source, are required to complete once every 3 years, a new on-line education module titled “Protection of Human Research Participants” located on UTMB’s On-Line Training database at http://www.utmb-online.com/.
