Down with the flu

It’s the time of year when co-workers disappear for days at a time after coming down with the flu. "We haven’t seen the number of laboratory confirmed influenza-associated hospitalizations that we saw last year; or even that we’ve seen in most years," said internal medicine Dr. Joan Nichols, associate director at the Galveston National Laboratory.
