Overview
Dr. Enrique Tuero received his medical degree from the University of Rosario in Argentina and completed his residency and fellowship in Cardiology in the Hospital das Clinicas, Sao Paulo, Brazil, British Hospital of Rosario, Argentina and in the Hospital Universitario del Centenario, Rosario, Argentina. He continued his cardiology training in fellowship programs in Yale University in New Haven and Cedars Sinai Hospital-UCLA in Los Angeles.
He is a former Professor of Cardiology at the University of Rosario and the University of La Plata in Argentina and Chief of Clinical Cardiology at the Instituto Cardiovascular de Rosario. Dr. Tuero is past president of the International Cardiac Doppler Society USA, the Rosario Cardiac Society Argentina and multiple cardiology Congresses worldwide—USA, Argentina, Poland, South Korea, Chile, and China.
His special interests are in the area of education as Associate Director of Education in the Cardiology Division at UTMB, Clinical Cardiology and Echocardiography and in patient care.
