Overview
Dr. Havlen received her medical degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch, Galveston in 1999 and completed her residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Texas Medical Branch in 2002. Dr. Havlen received her undergraduate degree from Rice University where she was elected to Phi Beta Kappa.
During her residency at UTMB, she was elected to Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. She also served as Chief Resident before joining the faculty in General Internal Medicine as an assistant professor in 2003.
She is board certified in Internal Medicine. Dr. Havlen's particular interest is in primary care and health maintenance. She is the medical director of the Harborside Medical Group on the mainland.
