Other Non-Academic Concerns Policy

Student grievances that reflect other non-academic concerns can be directed to the Office of Student Affairs of the respective UTMB schools. A grievance shall mean a complaint which deals with an allegation concerning any abrogation of student rights. If appropriate, the Student Affairs Officer may bring the grievance to the attention of the appropriate departmental office of advisory committee for further investigation. If no resolution is possible or if the decision rendered is unsatisfactory to the student, the student may appeal to the Dean. If the decision rendered by the Dean is unsatisfactory to the student, the student may appeal to the president in writing within ten (10) business days. The president shall render a final decision.
