Are you feeling lucky?
One Final SECC Drawing Announced: Two Family Memberships to UTMB Field House
This year's theme is "Lucky 13: All in for Giving," so what could be more fun than another drawing for two more lucky winners?
This time we have a very special prize: two year-long family memberships to the UTMB Field House. There is no minimum pledge amount required to be entered into the drawing. Everyone who has made a pledge by the campaign deadline--Saturday, Dec. 7 @ midnight--will be entered. If you made your pledge early, you are still in the running. (Those who already won gift cards are ineligible--see below.)
It's a great incentive to make your gift and get a great start on the new year and your healthy New Year’s resolutions. We'll draw the winners and announce them on the SECC blog.
Prizes and premiums are always fun!
Update: The tumblers supply has been exhausted
We know people don't make a pledge or gift in exchange for a trinket or chance at a gift card. Our long history with the SECC has taught us that people give for all the right reasons: out of commitment to their community or cause, because they feel it is a duty to give back, because it makes them feel good to share. Altruism and genuine generosity run deep among members of our UTMB community.
However, we do have an opportunity to say thanks with a small and useful token, one that can remind you of your gift and the good it helps make possible. In 2013, we have available durable insulated drinking tumblers that read "Together We Care." These premiums are provided as part of the statewide campaign; we have a limited supply so are making them available to anyone who makes a pledge of $20 or more (while supplies last).
UPDATE: We have run out of tumblers as of Nov. 25, 2013. If you made a pledge earlier, yours may still be awaiting labeling and shipping.
For the early birds, we had five gift cards to the Galveston Island Pleasure Pier. Those were awarded on Nov. 13. See the winners, who were announced on the SECC blog.
