The Administrative Fellowship Program at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston (UTMB Health) is a yearlong program dedicated to fostering the development of future leaders in healthcare. At UTMB Health, we are committed to ensuring the fellow gains exposure to the operations of a multifaceted health system and the unique challenges faced by academic medical centers.
The Administrative Fellowship Program provides graduates from an accredited MHA program or similar degree plan with the opportunity to begin a successful career in health care administration. Fellows will apply the knowledge gained in the classroom to real world situations and explore hospital operations through the completion of a wide range of projects. In addition, fellows receive a one-on-one mentorship with the CEO of the UTMB Health System and meet on weekly basis with the fellowship program sponsor.
