Students can view information about specific communities by searching via a variety of methods by clicking on the desired search method on the left side of your screen. Contact information is provided for the local AHEC coordinator should you desire additional information about a specific housing site or region. Once you have identified a community of interest contact the course coordinator to get additional information or to check housing availability.

There is a textbox in the right top corner of this screen. If you enter a keyword and click the "Search" button, you will get all housing sites that meet your search criteria. The keyword could be a city name, specific site name or any text. For example, you can enter "TV" to get all housing sites that come furnished with a television.

By clicking on Housing you will get an alphabetical list by city of all housing sites utilized. Click on the housing site name and you will be provided with information such as service area, household items provided, and type of housing i.e. apartment, dorm room, private house etc…

By clicking on City you will get an alphabetical list of State-County-City. Click on the city and you will be provided with detailed city information i.e. population, , hospitals, recreation etc… You can also see what service learning opportunities are available in that city.

By clicking on County you will get an alphabetical list of State-County. Click on the county and you will be provided with detailed county information i.e. population, hospitals, recreation etc…
