International Referral Center

Our unique ability to offer examination, certification and preventive services at one centralized location will allow pilots to be certified quickly and efficiently. Experienced professionals certified in aerospace medicine will coordinate all required medical documentation with the Federal Aviation Administration, and will work with the Aeromedical Certification Branch to expedite special issuance to qualified pilots. Non-certification medical assessments are based on the consensus opinion of the UTMB Aviation Medicine Board. Pilots requiring additional testing or medical procedures may be referred at their option to UTMB specialists for necessary testing or evaluation.
