Why?  Why should I Commit for Life?

There is no substitute for blood.  It has to come from one person in order to give to another.  A critical number of voluntary donations are required every day too meet the need for blood in the Galveston/Houston region.  However, we are consistently falling short, and falling short means we may not have enough blood for someone like you.

Where can I Commit for Life?

You can Commit for life by visiting your Neighborhood Donor Center.  You can see where UTMB Blood Bank is having their next community blood drive by looking at Blood Drives on this page.  You can also stop by our donor room located on the first floor of the John Sealy Annex.

Call 409-772-4861 to make an appointment.

What are the 2007 Donor Incentives?

All incentives for Commit for Life are based on the number of times a donor donates whole blood in a year.  For more information click here.
