Ms McKay is a registered architect with over twenty-five years of planning and project management experience. She worked for UTMB from 1992 through 1998 and 2006 to present as a project manager, Leader of Project Management, Director of Facilities Planning and Construction and most recently as the Assistant Vice President Facilities Portfolio Management.
She started her career in research design and has developed a keen interest in healthcare projects and in-campus planning. She also has background in transportation planning as she worked for eight years as a transportation planner for the City of Tucson. Her background also includes work in the private sector as a designer and architect on research, housing, and commercial projects.
She is committed to UTMB. She enjoys the people and city of Galveston, and is grateful to be able to be a part of facilities strategic planning for UTMB.
