Michael R. Shriner serves as the Vice President for Business Operations and Facilities. In this role he oversees a workforce of over 750 employees working in many support areas: Property Services (Clinical, Research, and Academic/Business Properties, Environmental Services, and Clinical Equipment Services); Design and Construction Services; Purchasing; Distribution Services (Receiving, Delivery, Mail Services and Surplus Property); Materials Management (Data Analytics, Inventory Warehouse, Health Care Supply and Distribution, and Informatics); Fleet Services; Records Management; Facilities Portfolio (Long Term Capital Planning, Resource Utilization and Agency Reports, Real Estate, Insurance, and Capital Asset Records Maintenance); Utilities (Utility Engineering and Operations, and Sustainability); Environmental Health and Safety (Biological and Chemical Safety, Fire and Life Safety, Radiation Safety); Institutional Preparedness; and Auxiliary Services (Campus Bookstore, Field House, Gift Shop, Retail Food Services, Parking, Student Housing and Vending).
