In her role as Chief Communications Officer, Sheila directs communication efforts and oversees various research and special projects for the EVP/CFBO and the Business and Finance executive leadership team. She also serves as advisor and assistant to the EVP/CFBO.
Sheila joined UTMB in 2007 to oversee communication and marketing efforts for the Comprehensive Cancer Center. She moved into her new role at UTMB in September 2009.
