Clinical Fellowship (CF) -
Resident Opportunities
The
UTMB Center for Audiology and Speech Pathology offers one-year clinical
fellowship/Au.D.
externships (residencies) in both Audiology and Speech Pathology. Our CF
positions provide
well-rounded exposure to a full range of diagnostic
and
treatment services for patients of all
ages. Residencies begin in early to
mid-June of each year.
UTMB
is a diverse medical complex, including six hospitals (700 patient beds), 93
outpatient
clinics, 40 hospital
clinics, a comprehensive emergency center and
four schools of advanced
learning. It is located on historical
Galveston
Island on the Gulf of Mexico, approximately
50 miles south of Houston.
Our post-masters clinical fellowship positions offer competitive salaries, an
excellent benefits
package, continuing education opportunities, paid leave and no state
income tax. Au.D. externs
receive a stipend.
MINIMUM
REQUIREMENTS FOR
THE CF-RESIDENT
Audiology: 4th year of Au.D. program or Master's degree in Audiology
Speech-Language Pathology: Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
Completion of requirements for the Clinical Fellowship year or Externship year
Eligibility for the Texas Intern license in Audiology or Speech-Language Pathology
