Dr. Jean McAtee joined UTMB Pediatric Associates in 1995 after completing her pediatric residency at Baylor College of Medicine. She earned her medical degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston, Texas. She earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Houston Clear Lake. Dr. McAtee is board certified by the American Academy of Pediatrics.

Dr. McAtee’s practice focuses on, but is not limited to, preventative care, well child examinations, the treatment of asthma and allergies and other common childhood illnesses.

“I have always been interested in biologic science… Thus I pursued a career in medicine. I particularly enjoyed pediatrics because children are great. I look forward to seeing my patients every day and only hope I can help them with all their needs - from preventing illness to caring for them when they are ill.”
