C. Rebecca Risinger, M.D., FAAP

Dr. Rebecca Risinger joined UTMB Pediatric Associates in 1993. A native of Texas City, Dr. Risinger received her doctorate from The University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston. She earned her bachelor’s degree from Sam Houston State University. Dr. Risinger is board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics.

As medical director of UTMB Pediatric Associates in Texas City, Dr. Risinger helps with the administration of the clinic as well as being a provider of pediatric health care.

Dr. Risinger enjoys the children of the community and has participated in promoting children's literacy with Reach Out and Read. She also has an interest in international health and has helped develop primary care in Armenia and Nicaragua.
