This is an exciting time for women's health research in our country. New opportunities for research and funding have emerged in the last decade and continue to grow. The Center for Interdisciplinary Research in Women's Health develops and enhances this field by funding postdoctoral fellowship positions in women's health, providing seed grant money, developing new collaborations of scientists, and providing awareness of funding opportunities in women's health. Everyone involved in the Center for Interdisciplinary Research in Women's Health contributes to the quality and quantity of women's health research on the UTMB campus by sharing their unique understanding and enthusiasm for this area.
