New Standards of Conduct Guide Requirements

UTMB has entered into an Institutional Compliance Agreement (ICA) with the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services' Office of Inspector General, as part of a voluntary disclosure by UTMB to the federal government. The ICA requires UTMB to distribute to all employees our newly revised Standards of Conduct Guide.

To comply with federal requirements, new employees must read the booklet, complete, sign and detach the acknowledgement statement card, and return it to the UTMB Office of Institutional Compliance through New Employee Orientation, campus or U.S. mail within 30 days of their hire date.

The acknowledgement form is also available on-line at http://www.utmb-online.com/.

The UTMB Standards of Conduct Guide was developed to create an awareness and understanding of the most significant general compliance issues for every employee. The guide provides a short, narrative explanation of important common compliance issues as well as questions and answers related to those issues. Please read the book and discuss the content or any questions with your supervisor.
