The Office of Planning and Management Systems is an internal planning and management consulting service. The office promotes institutional effectiveness and facilitates the change process at UTMB by integrating and aligning vision, people, and process.

Staff core competencies include systems thinking, problem solving, team building, meeting facilitation and leadership development. Services include:

The office has produced the institution’s strategic plan each biennium since 1992, and provides its services to university departments, schools, and major functional areas.
