Q

My department does not have enough money for everyone to have a copy of a specialized program on every computer. So I just copied the program from someone else’s computer and put it on mine. What’s wrong with that?

A

This is a violation of federal copyright laws. Check with UTMB Information Services to determine whether a cost effective site license is available for this program.

A

No. "Part B News" expressly prohibits copying and distribution of this newsletter in whole or in part. You may include quoted information in a letter or memo you type and distribute, providing you give credit to Part B. News in a footnote or end note.
