What can you expect
on your first visit? Each person is different and your experience
on your first visit will involve an evaluation by one of our
healthcare professionals. While we collect a considerable
amount of information prior to your first visit, this by itself
is not enough to design a plan of care. A physician will review
your information with you, discuss your history, review alternatives
and develop a plan tailored to fit your goals and choices.
The following will give you an idea of what you may expect
based on your BMI.
To determine your BMI, please follow this link
to the Centers for Disease Control BMI calculator.
| The
Center for Weight management offers assessment and treatment
to patients with severe obesity—those with BMIs
of >35 who also have obesity-related medical complications
or conditions OR to patients with BMIs >40. |
