Get Involved Now Accepting New Membership Applications The UTMB Diversity Council assists with the development and implementation of programs and initiatives that reinforce the institution's core value of diversity. Members of the FY17 council will work together to harness the broad spectrum of ideas, experiences and voices that characterize the UTMB community; preserve an inclusive and collaborative environment that actively promotes and values diversity in its broadest sense; and ensure that best practices in support of diversity and inclusion are woven throughout the institution. The council is open to all faculty, staff and students. Meetings will take place once a month on the Galveston Campus. If you are are interested in serving on the coucil, simply submit an online application. Paper copies of the application also are available at the HR Welcome Center and Jamail Student Center. The deadline for submitting an application for the FY17 council is midnight, Thursday, June 30. Please refer to the Diversity Council FAQs or the below video to learn more about joining the council.
