Hector Garcia: A Texas Legend


Dr. garcia served as Alternate Ambassador to the United NationsAs ambassador at the United Nations
In 1967, President Johnson appointed Dr. Garcia to serve as Alternate Ambassador to the United Nations to focus on promoting better relations with Latin America and Spain. Dr. Garcia was the first Mexican-American ambassador to the United Nations.
