Education Lab

This class is designed to introduce the student to the basic principles of reading basic ECG’s. This will include anatomy & physiology of the heart, understanding electrocardiogram, lead placement, interpreting basic rhythms, and treating various conditions. There is no formal test at the end of this class however the participant will receive a certificate of completion after successfully completing all the hands on and classroom requirements set forth for this class.

The American Heart Association strongly promotes knowledge and proficiency in BLS, ACLS, and PALS and has developed instructional materials for this purpose. Use of these materials in an educational course does not represent course sponsorship by the American Heart Association. Any fees charged for such a course, except for a portion of fees needed for AHA course material, do not represent income to the Association.
