Directions to the Education Laboratory

Outlined below are routes that hopefully will get you to our department without much difficulty. If you get turned around just stop in any office and use their phone to call us (772-2823) and we will try our best to get you going in the right direction.

Galveston (via I-45: Highways 3, 6, and 146)

1. I-45 across Galveston Causeway into city

2. Once on island, I-45 becomes Broadway, follow to 8^th Street

3. Turn left on 8^th St and follow to Market Street

4. On Market Street in front of you looking slightly to the right you will see the 6 story parking garage #1(building# 69 on map)

5. On foot you will be going north to the Jennie Sealy Hospital, 2-West, Room 235

1. I-45 across Galveston Causeway take exit on right Harborside Drive/Industrial Blvd.

2. Follow Harborside Drive to parking garage #2 (building#94 on map) to the right near the Emergency Room

3. On foot, you may go under or around the Emergency Room Bldg passing behind the TDCJ (Prison) Hospital to the back door of the Jennie Sealy Hospital, 2-West, Room 235

Galveston (via Freeport Area: Farm to Market 3005)

1. San Luis Vacek Toll Bridges to Galveston

2. Entrance road Highway becomes Seawall Blvd.

3. Follow Seawall Blvd to 8^th Street

4. Turn left on 8^th St and follow to Market Street

5. On Market Street in front of you looking slightly to the right you will se the 6 story parking garage #1(building# 69 on map)

6. On foot you will be going north to the Jennie Sealy Hospital, 2-West, Room 235

Galveston (via Golden Triangle: Highways 73, 87, and 124)

1. Enter Galveston via a ferry operated by the Texas Hwy Department

2. Ferry Road turn right on Post office Street follow to 8^th Street

3. Turn right on 8^th Street and follow to Market Street

4. On Market Street in front of you looking slightly to the right you will see the 6 story parking garage#1(building# 69 on map).

5. On foot you will be going north to the Jennie Sealy Hospital, 2-West, Room 235
