Radioactive Material Purchases
When placing a radioactive requisition order in PeopleSoft the following information MUST be typed on the requisition in PeopleSoft before the order will be approved by the Radiation Safety Office:
Permit Number
Nuclide
Chemical Form
mCi or uCi amount
Commodity Code – 193-80
Delivery Code – L12198
Radioactive orders are ap= proved every day at 10:00am, 2:00pm, & 4:00pm. If all the above information is no= t on the radioactive order it will delay the process. Once the order is approved by the Radiation Safety Office and given “RMC #” the order is dispatch= ed through PeopleSoft to the vendor.
The submitter of radioact= ive orders in PeopleSoft must also be approved by the Permit Administrator to o= rder radioactive material. If anyo= ne needs to be added please contact Debra Harper at ext. 22272.
