Hazardous waste generated at the University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB) at Galveston include such items as chemical, biological, and radioactive materials. The Environmental Protection Management (EPM) group is responsible for facilitating the safe pick up and disposal of the hazardous chemical and radioactive waste produced on campus.
