The Office of Enrollment Services is committed to making your introduction to UTMB a positive experience. Before You Arrive

Check with the Enrollment Services Office to make sure your official transcripts have arrived if you previously attended classes at other universities or colleges.
Login to UTMB's mySTAR portal at https://mySTAR.utmb.edu/ to check on the status of your application to ensure that all required documents and final official transcripts have been received. If your previous institutions have the ability to send the transcripts electronically via SPEEDE, please request that they do so. UTMB Enrollment Services will not accept paper transcripts from a SPEEDE partner. If the institution does not use SPEEDE, they must mail the official transcript directly to the UTMB Office of Enrollment Services. International students should click here and follow the instructions listed.
If you have questions, please contact Enrollment Services at enrollment.services@utmb.edu. Please remember to include your UTMB student ID number on all correspondence. If you are currently enrolled, send your official transcripts at the end of the semester. Be sure to have the transcripts sent from your previous school directly to the Enrollment Services Office. Financial Aid
In order to access financial aid information, you must be an accepted student. After your acceptance has been processed, you be able to access your financial aid information via the mySTAR portal at https://mySTAR.utmb.edu/.

Students with Disabilities
Students with a documented disability may contact the Student ADA Coordinator at any time prior to the start of classes or at any time while enrollmed at UTMB. Parking
Students are encouraged to pre-purchase their parking permit. All parking permit types and fees are listed on the website along with the Student Parking Permit Application. To pre-register, students will need to mail in their student parking permit application and payment (check or money order) to this address:

Student Parking Permit Application (click for application). Students who wish to purchase a yearly parking pass may do so by completing the parking permit application. (required form)
Alternate Parking - The UTMB Free Shuttle Parking Lot is located at Holiday Drive (4th Street) and Winnie Street. UTMB offers free parking and transportation to all students, employees, patients, and visitors from the shuttle lot. The regular shuttles will be running throughout the day, according to the shuttle schedule which is located at the UTMB Parking website, please click here.
Handicapped Parking - UTMB provides designated parking spaces for those persons duly registered and properly identified as provided by law (Texas Transportation Code, 681, et seq.). For more information, please call the Parking Facilities Office at (409) 772-1581.
Dorms & University Housing
UTMB Auxilliary Enterprises has some dormitories on campus, as well as apartments located near campus (follow the link for more information).
Maintain Current Address And Phone Number On Record
It is very important that you keep a current mailing address and phone number on-file in Enrollment Services office. If you move or change phone numbers, don’t forget to contact them at (409) 772-1215 or login to UTMB's Student Services mySTAR portal at https://mySTAR.utmb.edu/. Name changes can be made via email, providing proper documentation is also submitted. Examples include a marriage license, adoption documents, court order name-change documents, etc. Incorrect contact information could cause you to miss out on important information!
Official Student Communications
All official communication will be through your UTMB email account, therefore you will be responsible for checking your UTMB email regularly. If you experience problems with your email account, contact the UTMB Service Desk. The services of the UTMB Service Desk are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The UTMB Service Desk can be contacted on campus at extension #25200, in Galveston at 409-772-5200, Houston at 281-554-1577, or toll-free at 1-888-898-2401. Less urgent inquiries can also be emailed to ishelp@utmb.edu. Service requests status and new Service requests may also be submitted by visiting http://usd/servicedesk.
