U.S. Visiting Medical Students
Medical students from other institutions in their final year of medical school may apply to take an elective at UTMB through the Visiting Student Application Service (VSAS).

(Note: UTMB only accepts medical students in their final year of school. Also, Students in Fifth Pathway programs are not eligible to participate in electives as Visiting Medical Students.)
International Visiting Medical Students
Note: If you are an international student applying to take an elective at UTMB, your institution must have a current affiliation with UTMB. We only accept medical students in their final year of school. Also, students in Fifth Pathway programs are not eligible to participate in electives as visiting medical students.
