Scholarships

Scholarship for Disadvantaged Students (SDS) (M)
This scholarship is available to students enrolled in the School of Medicine who also meet the following criteria:

  1. The student must be a citizen or national of the United States or a lawful, permanent resident of the United States, Puerto Rico, the Virgin Islands, Guam, the Trust Territory of the Pacific Islands or American Samoa.
  2. The students must be of “exceptional financial need” as defined by current federal regulations.
  3. The student must come from a disadvantaged background.

National Medical Fellowships Scholarship Program (NMF) (M I, II)
NMF provides scholarships to African-Americans, Mexicans-Americans, mainland Puerto Ricans and Native Americans. All applicants must be a U.S. citizen or must have filed a declaration of intent to become a citizen and must

Academic Scholarships

Armed Forces Health Professions Scholarship Program
A Health Professions Scholarship from any of the military services provides up to four years full tuition, all required fees, books and equipment, and a monthly stipend. In return for each year of support from one of the armed services, you must serve one year of active duty in that service-or a minimum of two year's service-excluding periods of postgraduate professional education.
