When the need for care is immediate, but does not require a visit to an emergency room, our Urgent Care Centers are available to treat minor illnesses and injuries such as flu, fever, earaches, nausea, rashes, animal and insect bites, minor bone fractures and cuts requiring stitches. The centers are staffed by UTMB physicians and medical professionals and provide quality care and prompt attention for injuries and illnesses that are not life threatening.
