Mr. Marshall has responsibility for nursing practice and operations throughout the UTMB enterprise.
Active in local and national professional organizations, Marshall is currently serving terms on the American Nurses Association Congress on Nursing Practice and Economics, Commissioner of the American Nurses Credentialing Center Commission on Accreditation, the Committee on Practice Issues for the Texas Nurses Association, District 6, and as an Advisory Board member for the Galveston County Branch of the American Red Cross.
He is certified in Nursing Administration and is a Johnson & Johnson Wharton Fellow (Program in Management for Nurse Executives). Marshall was recently awarded the Nurse-of-the-Year Leadership Award from the Texas Nurses Association, District 6.
