o   Michelle Kanuth, Ph.D., Professor, Clinical Laboratory Sciences Has been named Cambridge Who’s Who Professional of the Year in Higher Education. 

o   Holly West and Camille Loftin, Assistant Professors in Physician Assistant Studies, received an Education Technology Grant from the Academy of Master Teachers. 

o   Governor Rick Perry reappointed Dr. Richard Rahr to the Texas Physician Assistant Board.  Dr. Rahr chairs the Physician Assistant Studies Department.

o   2011 Homecoming provided an opportunity for alumni to meet current faculty and learn about new activities in the school.  The honorary class of 1961 had only 15 baccalaureate graduates, 9 in physical therapy and 6 in medical technology
