A Peek Inside the Faculty Lounge
The lounge has capacity for between 50 and 60 guests. Hours of operation are Monday through Friday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.. 
The lounge features wireless Internet access, satellite radio and comfortable lounge seating in a welcoming and bright environment.
The lounge is housed in newly renovated space on the ground floor of Old Red. It may be accessed from the inside of Old Red or through a door opening directly to the exterior, located on the north side of the building and visible in the background of this image. The facility is wheelchair accessible.
The menu in the Faculty Lounge is eclectic and will change regularly. It features many of UTMB Catering’s most popular offerings, plus specially created items. Counter service will be offered, and a coffee bar and beverages will be available all day. Beer and wine are served after 5 p.m. until closing at 7 p.m..
