Spring Into Action for the Family Matters homestretch!
All employees are invited to Spring into Action as the Family Matters Campaign nears its conclusion on May 31. The initiative kicks off at the UTMB Service Pin Awards events on Feb. 15. Other events, including visits to individual departments by Family Matters Campaign Chair Dr. Al LeBlanc, will take place February through May.

For years, alumni and friends have given generously to UTMB. On Sept. 1, 2003, UTMB launched a five-year, $250 million Timeless Values, Pioneering Solutions campaign as an invitation for individuals and organizations to join in the university’s vision for health care’s future.

As the campaign for the university community, the five-year, $25 million Family Matters initiative is part of that larger effort. It’s a chance for each of us to invest in UTMB’s future. It’s our way to show that family does matter—that we believe UTMB truly can make a difference in the lives of those we serve through groundbreaking research, innovative educational programs and compassionate patient care.
