Dr. Gagan Sood

          Title: Associate Professor, Medical Director Liver Transplantation
          Degree: MD

Biosketch

Dr. Sood joined the University of Texas Medical Branch in 2005.He is currently an associate Professor and Medical Director of Liver Transplant Program. He received his internal Medicine training at Henry Ford Hospital (1994-1996 ) and Gastroenterology Fellowship (1996-1999) at University of Alabama (UAB ) at Birmingham Alabama.He also obtained advanced fellowship in Transplant Hepatology at UAB (1999-2000). Later he worked as an assistant Professor at University of Mississippi ( 2000-2005 ). He is board certified in Internal Medicine, Gastroenterology and Transplant Hepatology.
