Dr. Rajasekhara Mummadi

Biosketch

Dr.Mummadi graduated from Osmania Medical College (Hyderabad,India) in 1998 and pursued an internal medicine residency in Gandhi Medical College (Hyderabad,India).He moved to United States in 2002 and spent an year in the University of North Texas Health Science Center at Fort Worth learning the basics of biostatistics and epidemiology. He joined Internal Medicine residency at the University of Texas Medical Branch in 2003 and graduated in 2006. At graduation he was awarded the Thomas N and Gleaves T .James award for “excellent performance by an outgoing resident” .He joined the division of gastroenterology in 2006 is a second year fellow at present .During his fellowship he won numerous travel grants , authored several publications and presented at all national meetings. Dr.Mummadi is concurrently pursuing a Masters Degree in Clinical Investigation .After graduation he will pursue an advanced endoscopy fellow ship in The University of Colorado Health Science Center at Denver.


Research Interests

1. Non invasive biomarkers in chronic liver disease. 2. Endoscopy outcomes.
