You may
already be aware that the University is transitioning from timekeeping in
HRMS to timekeeping in the KRONOS system. For those of you not familiar
with KRONOS, it is a web-based system of timekeeping in which you will
clock in/out via the telephone and you will be able to access to your
time/accruals via the internet. Those employees who have been using ETC
(including the GCRC Nursing Staff) and a few pilot departments have
already transitioned (approx. 6,500 employees). The University plans to
have all classified employees entering time via KRONOS by April, 2005.
In January
2005, the remaining GCRC staff will convert to KRONOS.
Thank you for
your cooperation as we undertake yet another change. Hey - if we can
submit 2 competitive renewals in a 16-month period, we can do anything!!!
