Consultations:

GCRC SERVICES: Drs. Don W. Powell, Karl E. Anderson, and Melinda Moore are available prior to submission for consultations on how the GCRC may provide service for your protocol.

GCRC RESOURCES: Lori Wiseman may be consulted for questions regarding availability of GCRC resources and ancillaries.

BIONUTRITION: Astrid Inniss encourages consultation with them not only when designing feeding studies but also any other GCRC studies which will involve the collection of dietary data.

BIOSTATISTICS: James Grady reviews the design of all GCRC protocols and is available for consultation.

DATA AND SAFETY MONITORING PLAN: Dr. Michele A. Carter will help assist you in formulating your Data and Safety Monitoring Plan.

INFORMATICS CORE: Regina Minton can assist investigators and their staff with computer-related activities like: data management strategies (collecting, storing and archiving electronic information), creating promotional material, and hardware/software acquisition and use. Some of the software and hardware available in the GCRC Computer Lab includes: graphics and image retrieval applications, SigmaPlot, Microsoft Office applications, an HP Color LaserJet 8550 printer, Canon Digital Camera and an HP flatbed scanner.

NURSING SERVICES: Victoria Korschgen is available to discuss and assist with planning, nursing support, clinical equipment and supply needs and to schedule Initiation Meetings for approved protocols.

PROTOCOL PREPARATION: Dr. Animesh Chandra will be glad to meet with you to help prepare your protocol.
