Dr.
Sushil K. Sarna was recruited to UTMB from Zablocki VA MEdical Center in
Wisconsin where he was the Chief of the Surgical Research Section.
His educational background is in biomedical and electrical engineering
from the University of Alberta, Canada. His field of research
expertise is colonic smooth muscle biology. His recruitment to
UTMB in early 2002 adds an important dimension to the GI inflammatory
group of researchers on campus.
