Health Policy Analyst and Former Colorado Governor

Lamm suggests we take a hard look at health care

Is our country’s health care system on a collision course with the future? Is "any cure at any cost" a sustainable approach, when more than 40 million Americans don’t have insurance and can’t afford health care? Richard Lamm, former Colorado governor and a health policy analyst, thinks we need to take a hard look at how medicine is practiced, delivered and paid for in this country. His lecture was the first in UTMB’s new Health Policy Forum series.

A limited number of videotapes of the lecture are also available for a two-day loan from the Office of University Advancement. For more information on the tapes or the rebroadcast, call the Office of University advancement at (409) 772-2618.
