The UTMB Theme Line

The university is represented by a theme line that clearly and concisely describes UTMB's unique position in Texas medicine.

Here for the health of Texas.

The theme line is a compelling statement that is at the heart of what each UTMB employee does, no matter the individual job description. It speaks to the university's heritage and to our vision for the future. The theme line can be used in publications, in ads, on web sites, on posters, on banners, in videos. Its use is not required, but the sentiment behind the statement can serve as a foundation in developing most promotional materials about the university.

When the theme line is used as a graphic element, it should be written in Times Roman italic type, with a period at the end. If used as part of running text, it should be set the same as surrounding type.
