The UTMB Logo

The UTMB logo is a major component of the graphic identity system. The lone-star motif and bold color scheme communicate our Texas roots, while also presenting an active, progressive image.

The logo can be institutional or customized to feature the name of UTMB departments and service lines. The institutional and customized logos, as defined in these guidelines, are the only sanctioned logos for UTMB departments, programs or service lines. The logo, either in its institutional or customized form, must appear prominently on all promotional materials, whether targeted to internal or external audiences, whether produced on campus or off.

The UTMB logo is available in both print and web page versions. The print versions should never be used on a web page, and the web version should never appear on a promotional publication.

The web version of the UTMB logo has a slight bevel and a drop shadow. This version offers more depth and visual richness, and better fits with the nature of the web. See the web section of the Identity System for usage guidelines, UTMB web page standards, and more information.
