UTMB Web Page StandardsThe UTMB Standard Footer In 2000, the State of Texas adopted new regulations, adding its own list of requirements defining what would be included on web pages published by state entities, universities included. A standardized footer has been created that addresses all these requirements. The footer is designed to make it easy for publishers to comply with requirements, yet is flexible enough to allow customization for a specific applications. It's also designed to have a low visual impact and load quickly. Note that the footer uses the Verdana typeface, because of its legibility at small sizes. The date of last edit should be posted just above the footer, on the left of the page. Copy the footer below for use on your pages. (The table border surrounding the footer is for visual clarity on this page, and should not be visible on your pages.) Text should be 8-pt (Size 1). The font string should be "Verdana, sans-serif" and the footer should be centered, with line breaks as shown below. |
