From the Houston Metropolitan Area

Take Interstate Highway 45 (IH 45) South to Galveston Island. Cross the Galveston Causeway Bridge. IH 45 South becomes Broadway (State Highway 87). Continue down Broadway. The Institute for Human Infections and Immunity is located at the Galveston National Laboratory between 9th and 10th Streets across the plaza from the Moody Medical Library.

From the Beaumont-Port Arthur Area

Take State Highway 87 to the ferry landing in Port Bolivar. Take the Galveston-Port Bolivar ferry to reach Galveston Island. Exit ferry onto Ferry Road (State Highway 87). Turn right on Harborside Drive (Highway 275) and follow the street signs to 9th Street.

From Brazoria and Matagorda Counties

Take Farm-to-Market Road 3005 (FM 3005) East. Cross the toll bridge over San Luis Pass to Galveston Island. Continue on FM 3005 (Seawall Blvd.) and turn left onto 9th or 10th Street.
